The Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department (BTVFD) is a combination department where volunteers play a vital role in keeping our community safe — membership is truly the key to our success. We are always looking for new members to help us maintain the high level of service we provide today and ensure we can continue serving in the future.
No experience? No problem! BTVFD covers the cost of all required training and offers in-house training opportunities to prepare you for the job.

Membership Requirements
- Age 16 and 17 Junior Firefighter
- Age 18 and older Firefighter
- Membership Packet (includes background check, physical, and workers permit for Jr. Firefighters.)
